Every step, a memory - walking for inspiration

From Rocky Point to Vancouver Island — and soon, Italy — this video traces my journey through the places that have shaped me as an artist and a person. Join me on a walk through Rocky Point Park in Port Moody, where I first found a sense of grounding after moving to Canada in 2008. These trails, the inlet, and a quiet bench shared with my beloved dog Polo became part of my everyday rhythm, offering inspiration, reflection, and comfort through the years. In 2020, I moved to Vancouver Island, trading city life for forest walks and ocean swims. Now, I continue walking, always walking as a way to connect with land, memory, and creativity. This is a visual diary about how places hold us, how walking opens the door to artistic inspiration, and how each step forward carries pieces of where we’ve been. Next stop: Italy. But first, this soil.
