In My Strong Girl Suit, layered mountains and grounded earth forms come together through carefully torn and assembled paper, creating a landscape that feels both protective and powerful. Rich blues, deep earth tones, and bold vertical shapes evoke endurance, determination, and the many ways strength is built over a lifetime. The work reflects on the “suit” we learn to wear as resilience shaped by experience, vulnerability, and growth. Like many of my PaperScapes, the landscape becomes emotional terrain: a reflection of inner strength carried quietly and steadily forward.
